YOSEMITE BASECAMP LODGING
The Yosemite Basecamp was originally built over 100 years ago as the Hamilton Stables and Livery, and then repurposed for the Hetch Hetchy Dam project in 1920.
In 2019, the founding members of Echo Adventure Cooperative carefully crafted the Basecamp lodging to be a clean and comfortable homage to these historical roots. Many of our furnishings were recovered from the original Groveland Hotel or purchased from Ranch Revived, bringing our obsession with Groveland's fascinating history right into the visitor experience!
Each room, cabin and campsite is designed for Yosemite Adventurers and is located in downtown Groveland within walking distance of eateries, taverns and shops.

ADVENTURE LOFT
The Adventure Loft is an 850 sq ft (79 sq m) full-service accommodation that can comfortably accommodate up to 4 adult visitors with 1 queen-size bed and 1 queen-size sofa bed. The Loft features a separate private room for the clawfoot soaking tub and shower away from the toilet and vanity for the ultimate post-adventure relaxation and recovery.
The Adventure Loft also includes high tech amenities like Alexa, wireless and USB charging docks, a 42-inch smart television, smart door locks, and a work nook with USB connections, high-ish speed Wifi and access to a Bluetooth printing during business hours. The Loft also features a Tesla charging station just outside your room!

BASECAMP BUNKHOUSE
The Basecamp Bunkhouse is a 450 sq ft (40 sq m) full-service accommodation that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 visitors with 1 queen-size bed, 5 twin-size bunk beds, and a crib upon request. The Bunkhouse features a separate, private accessible room for showering away from the toilet and vanity for the ultimate post-adventure relaxation and recovery.
The Basecamp Bunkhouse also includes high tech amenities like Alexa, wireless and USB charging docks, a widescreen smart television, smart door locks, and a work nook with USB connections, high-ish speed Wifi and access to a Bluetooth printing during business hours. The Bunkhouse is also right next to a Tesla charging station!

FAMILY CABINS
The Family Cabins are 900 sq ft (84 sq m) full-service accommodations that can comfortably accommodate up to 6 visitors with 1 queen-size bed and 4 twin beds. Twin beds are set up at bunk beds or twin trundle beds.

The Family Cabins also includes high tech amenities like Alexa, wireless and USB charging docks, a 50-inch smart television, smart door locks, and high-ish speed Wifi. It also features a Tesla super charging station just outside of our Basecamp Outfitter!
Each cabin is decorated based on popular Sierra adventures so each cabin has its own personality! Contact us after you have booked if you prefer one motif over another!

TENT CABINS
Our canvas tents cabins are perfect for any outdoor enthusiasts that wants adventure with a few amenities!
Our tent cabins include wifi, limited electricity, portable lantern, four camp chairs, four cots, four sleeping bags, and four camp pillows. Each site will also have a private picnic table, bear box and grill.
Guests will also find a communal area with a fire pit, dish washing station and toilets. Please note there are no showers or laundry services available to campground guests.​

CAMP SITES
Each campsite can accommodate 2, 3 person tents or 1, 6 person tent and includes a parking space, grill, a picnic table and free wifi. Guests will also find a communal area with a fire pit, dish washing station and toilets. Please note there are no showers or laundry services available to campground guests.​

Our private campground is tucked back on the Basecamp property, high above Main Street, within walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and groceries. ​

No camping equipment, no problem! Echo Adventure Cooperative rents tent camping kits for 15% off basecamp guests!
